STAFF RESERVATIONS

• 01

  Staff members such as Owner, Director, Management, or Senior Administrators reserve the right to take corrective action against any individual who is encouraging and/or participating in actions which require longer or permanent bans due to having a highly negative impact on the experience of one or several users.

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS

• 01

  Rules that have been broken that are deemed inappropriate, destructive, RDM, VDM, Metagaming, Low Quality RP, FailRP, NVL, and/or within the Paragon Roleplay community will be handled in accordance with the standard and staff guidelines.

• 02

  Repeatedly engaging in these rule breaks will result in actions ranging from an extended ban period, permanent ban, or removal from discord.

STAFF DISRESPECT

• 01

  Any kind of staff disrespect is not tolerated within the community. If you are caught disrespecting staff you will be banned.

• 02

  If you continuously disrespect staff it will be actioned into a permanent ban with a removal from the discord.

• 03

  Impersonation of any staff members will result in a permanent ban from the server

RULES

• 01

  Selling in-game money or items for real life money is not allowed and is a permanent ban, not appealable.

• 02

  If you are streaming or recording and a staff member is talking to you in a call, please put your stream in pause mode, MUTE ALL AUDIO, and end your recording out of respect for you and our staff team.

• 03

  If someone is breaking a rule in the city, please make a clip of the situation and send a ticket in for staff to handle. You can also do T /report in the city. Do not mod your own scenes.

• 04

  Slurs or hate speech are not tolerated in the city. This includes offensive and derogatory terms. This includes F word, R word, N word, homophobic comments, transphobic comments, racist comments, racist slurs, etc.

OUT OF CHARACTER

• 01

  You CANNOT talk OOC in the city. ( out of city terms Example: talking about your IRL life in city )

• 02

  You will be warned the first time you go Out Of Character. Depending on the severity of the OOC you could potentially be banned.

• 03

  Continuously going Out Of Character will be met with a ban.

METAGAMING

• 01

  You cannot use any information that you have obtained outside of character within roleplay circumstances. This includes using third party software devices such as:

  Twitch Streams

  Kick Streams

  TikTok Streams

ETC

• 01

  You cannot use knowledge from an outside source in the city to create interactions, scenes, and/or events within your character.

COMBAT LOGGING

• 01

  If you are in a scene you can not F8 in a scene. F8'ing in a scene to avoid an interaction will not be tolerated and you will be banned.

SERVER RESTART

• 01

  Using a crash to your advantage in roleplay is not tolerated. You must make sure to put a screenshot of your crash report in the discord section (crash-logs). You will find this under Development.

• 02

  You must immediately return to the scene if your game crashed to conclude the scene..

• 03

  If you refuse to continue the scene after you fly back in or place items away and then continue the scene, it will be treated as combat logging and you will be met with a ban. As you are using a crash to your advantage.

POWER GAMING

• 01

  You can not abuse and/or take advantage of game mechanics, bugs, or unintended features to your advantage. Examples of these are but not limited to:

  Using the escort feature to place individuals where ems can not reach them or placing them into a wall where they go into a void.

• 03

  Using the escort or carry feature to carry multiple people. You can only carry one person at a time. You can not carry multiple people (chaining method)

• 04

  Storing your vehicle in a garage during a vehicle pursuit. This includes pulling out a vehicle during a vehicle pursuit.

• 05

  Running into your house during an active interaction.

• 06

  Using the feature to see peoples ID during a scene or to locate a body to gain meta information.

• 07

  Talking/Organizing while on side or dead. (you should be rp'ing being hurt if you are on your side)

• 08

  Flat backing someone so they can gain an advantage to call ems faster. Flat backing for any advantage is not tolerated.

• 09

  You are not allowed to transfer money from one character to another character of your own. This includes cars and MLO's.

• 10

  You cannot use T /help to get revived in a scene.

• 11

  Powergaming is forcing an outcome onto another player without giving them a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Example

  /me breaks John's arm and takes his gun.

• 02

  This forces the result.

Better

• 01

  /me attempts to grab John's firearm.

• 02

  The other player gets an opportunity to respond.

VALUE OF LIFE

• 01

  Your character must fear their lives in situations where they are endangered.

• 02

  If you have a gun pointed to you, listen to any demand.

• 03

  If you are in a vehicle just sitting there and it's not actively moving and they tell you to put your hands up. You have to put your hands up. You can not just drive off.

• 04

  If you have your gun out before they point a gun at you, you must comply with the 2 minute interaction timer before shooting rule.

• 05

  You can not pull out a gun when you have a gun to your head. Or any weapon.

OOC TARGETING / OOC TOXICITY

• 01

  Everything that happens in the city must stay in the city.

• 02

  You are not allowed to take it out of character with the intent to maliciously use it against another individual. Examples of these are:

• 03

  Repeatedly contacting the individual with the intent to bother, insult, and/or harass them.

• 04

  Influencing others to turn against another individual with malicious intent.

• 05

  You can not message out of character about something that happened in the city. This includes DMing people on discord, twitch streams, instagram, etc.

• 06

  If you are caught you will be banned. Depending on the severity you may be permanently banned.

RANDOM DEATH MATCH

• 01

  All interactions must be hostile before anyone is injured or harmed.

• 02

  You cannot just walk up to someone and shoot them.

• 03

  You cannot kill anyone without a reason. Example : Running up to alta and shooting everyone there for no reason

• 04

  You must kill someone for a valid reason. You can't kill someone because "they ignored you."

VEHICLE DEATH MATCH

• 01

  You cannot run someone over with your car in any situation.

COP BAITING

• 01

  Forcing a police chase or jail sentence is not allowed. Examples : hitting a cop car on purpose or telling them you are going to rob a bank.

• 02

  Telling a police officer how to police or that they don't know the right codes is considered low quality rp. Your character should not know how to be a police officer or know any codes.

• 03

  Do NOT steal cop cars or ambulances.

Impersonating Emergency Services

• 01

  Players may not impersonate law enforcement, EMS, or other official emergency personnel without being an approved member of that faction. This includes wearing official uniforms, using marked emergency vehicles, displaying badges or official identification, or falsely claiming to be an active officer or medic.

• 02

  Punishment: Immediate staff action, up to and including a ban depending on the severity and intent.

GREEN ZONES

• 01

  Hospitals AND FEMALE BADDIE MANSION are a GREEN ZONE.

• 02

  Any toxicity at Hospitals will result in a ban from the server.

• 03

  No Faction activity is allowed at the hospital.

• 04

  Males are not allowed at the female baddie mansion unless stated otherwise in a hosted event.

YELLOW ZONES

Business are considered a YELLOW ZONE and should be treated as such

  If you are in faction colors/identifiers while on the clock in a business you are putting yourself and the business at risk for hostile interactions and shot up.

• 02

  Opposing factions are required to ask any said individual wearing identifiers/colors to leave the building 3 TIMES before getting hostile and pulling weapons.

HARASSMENT

• 01

  Harassment in any form is not allowed within the city or out of the city. You may be banned without a warning. Depending on the severity it may be a permanent ban. Forms of harassment include:

  Killing someone multiple times because you don't like them.

• 03

  Following/stalking someone in the game with no intent to RP.

• 04

  Calling anyone a slur or a derogatory word. ( This is a permanent ban no exceptions )

• 05

  Messaging someone outside of roleplay.

• 06

  Sexual Harassment making remarks, acts, noises, etc without consent. ( This is a permanent ban no exceptions )

• 07

  Sexual Harassing someone outside of the city will be met with a permanent ban.

• 08

  Dm'ing people about an in city situation you had with the person you are dming or about another person in the city is NOT allowed.

EXCESSIVE TOXICITY

• 01

  Being a part of excessive toxicity against other players is not allowed. We want to make sure that everyone remains respectful towards others. Excessive Toxicity includes but is not limited to:

  Mag dumping one or several bodies.

• 03

  Running bodies over as a display for other people.

• 04

  Downing other players with the intent to crouch, teabag, emote, dance, and or etc on their bodies.

• 05

  Picking up people and driving around with them without necessity.

• 06

  Taking photos of dead bodies and posting them on twitter.

DARK ROLEPLAY

• 01

  For dark roleplay you need to have consent before performing the scene. If the person asks you to stop at any point you must stop. Dark roleplay include:

  Removal of body parts needs to be consented ( OOC ) as this could change a person's character and how they roleplay.

• 03

  There is absolutely no necrophilia roleplay. This means no emoting "hump" or any other "emotes" on the body.

• 04

  There is no suicide Roleplay.

• 05

  Nonconsensual Sexual Roleplay.

RULE SPLAINING

• 01

  Telling people what they are doing wrong in a scene and telling them what rules they are breaking ( rule splaining ) is not allowed.

• 02

  If someone is breaking rules, remain in character and please make a clip and send it to the staff team.

EXPLOITING

• 01

  You are not allowed to intentionally take advantage of exploits which provide an unintentional advantage from a game feature. If you encounter an exploit,

  report it to a staff member. If you are knowingly using an exploit you will be banned.

MODDING

• 01

  Anyone who is using injectors or modification clients will be immediately banned.

• 02

  If you know someone is actively using mods and fail to report it you may also be banned by association.

ALTERED FILES

Using Altered files is not allowed. This includes

  Certain Texture Packs

  No fog

  No Vegetations

  Transparent Ocean or No ocean at all

  Tracers

  Sound Effects (ex: loud footsteps)

  Vehicle & Pursuit Rules

Vehicle Seat Limitations During Scenes

• 01

  Vehicles must be used according to their real-life seating capacity.

• 02

  2-seater vehicles = maximum 2 occupants.

• 03

  4-seater vehicles = maximum 4 occupants.

• 04

  6-seater vehicles = maximum 6 occupants, etc.

• 05

  No riding in trunks, on roofs, hoods, or any unrealistic seating positions.

• 06

  Exceeding seat capacity is considered powergaming and will result in disciplinary action.

Piggybacking / Carry Exploits

• 01

  Piggybacking or carrying players during any heist, robbery, gang activity, or criminal situation is strictly prohibited.

This includes using carry mechanics to

  Avoid arrest

  Move faster than intended

• 03

  Exploit game mechanics during active criminal scenarios

Police Chase Vehicle Swap Rule

During any police pursuit

• 01

  Only ONE vehicle swap is allowed per criminal group.

• 02

  After the swap, you must remain in that vehicle.

• 03

  Returning to a previously used vehicle is not allowed.

• 04

  Swapping to aircraft, boats, or motorcycles after starting in a car (or vice versa) is not permitted unless the RP situation reasonably supports it.

• 05

  Pre-staged backup vehicles are allowed but still count toward the one-swap limit.

• 06

  Excessive vehicle swapping to avoid capture is considered fail RP.

Realistic Driving Expectations

• 01

  No ramming police repeatedly without RP reasoning.

• 02

  No brake checking or intentional desync abuse.

• 03

  Heist & Criminal Vehicle Rules

• 04

  Heist vehicles must follow seat limitations.

• 05

  No "stacking" extra members in vehicles to gain an advantage.

• 06

  No unrealistic escape methods that break immersion.

• 07

  Air vehicles may not be instantly pulled out mid-pursuit unless properly staged and roleplayed.

  General Abuse of Mechanics

• 09

  Using animations, glitches, or mechanics to gain unfair advantage in chases or criminal RP is prohibited.

• 10

  Admins have final say in determining whether an action breaks immersion or server balance.

HEISTS

• 01

  You can not coordinate multiple heists at the same time.

• 02

  You can not interfere with an ongoing heist. You can not start a heist/robbery 30 minutes before or after a tsunami.

• 03

  You can not camp any heists before the 30 minute timer is up.

• 04

  You may have 1 hostage and 1 demand for any heist; Except Heists that are 6+ players, which may have 2 hostages with 1 demand per hostage.

ROBBERIES

• 01

  You can rob people on their side and backs.

• 02

  You are able to remember the events leading up to your injury if you are brought to a hospital for treatment, either by EMS or by another individual OR if you are robbed. NOT if you have "seen the light" (respawned by flexing E).

• 03

  You do not lose items holding E, HOWEVER you CANNOT hold E until a scene has completely ended. (ex: if you're in a shootout and die and the shootout lasts 20+ minutes you cannot hold E until that shootout has ended)

• 04

  You can not rob someone if you did not have a scene with them. (ex: you found a random player dead on the road and robbed.)

• 05

  You have to have a reason to rob someone.You cannot rob someone just because.

• 06

  Robbing someone of mats on an illegal bench qualifies as situational and can be considered an "illegal item" in that situation. (gun bench, mele bench, etc)

• 07

  You cannot rob trunks or players if they are in a GREEN ZONE.

COP ROBBING / HOSTAGE

• 01

  You can rob any item off of police officers EXCEPT PD ITEMS! (guns or tazer)

• 02

  Cops are able to be taken hostage (minimum of 5 cops on duty) however, PD will be allowed to use all means necessary to rescue and protect their fellow officer.

• 03

  You can take EMS who are on duty as a hostage (minimum of 3 EMS on duty)

• 04

  You cannot call EMS to a scene with the intent to take them hostage.

• 05

  You cannot take EMS hostage from an active scene.

HOSTAGE / KIDNAPPING

• 01

  You cannot have a fake hostage. The hostage can't be in your gang or group.

• 02

  You CANNOT rob or kill a hostage if you are using them for a heist.

• 03

  You CANNOT store items on a hostage and then rob them later for the items back.

SCENE INTERFERENCE

• 01

  You can not force yourself into a storyline/scene that you do not belong to and/or have no reason to be a part of. These includes:

  You can not intervene in a heist that is already claimed.

• 03

  You can not intervene in an active police chase.

• 04

  You can not intervene in any type of shootout that doesn't involve you.

• 05

  You can not intervene in police scenes that do not involve you.

SCAMMING

  Scamming is allowed within the city.

• 02

  You can not scam new players.

• 03

  You can not scam the same person multiple times.

• 04

  You must wait an hour before scamming another person.

  For minor or accidental violations.

Level 2 - Formal Warning

  Documented rule violation.

Level 3 - Kick

  Used when immediate removal from the server is necessary.

Level 4 - Temporary Ban

  Used for severe violations or repeated behavior.
